Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy covers browsing pages on clash-link.com, reading articles, and using download links. It explains what access data the site processes. It does not cover how clients, subscription services, or external websites handle data.
1. Data We Collect
This is a static content website with no account registration or email collection forms. You can read guides and use download links without submitting your name, phone number, or email address. The site does not ask you to enter proxy subscriptions, node passwords, or client configuration files.
When you visit a page, your browser sends a request to the servers hosting the site. The service layer may log your IP address, request time, page path, response status, browser details, and referring page to deliver content, troubleshoot errors, and detect unusual requests. Download requests may also generate service logs.
Website access logs are not client connection logs. Reading a guide does not give this site access to proxy traffic, proxy group selections, or local configuration data stored in your client.
2. Traffic Analytics and How We Use Data
We use traffic analytics to understand page views, referral sources, device types, and interactions such as download platform selections. This helps us make documentation easier to find, improve the mobile reading experience, and identify broken links or page issues.
Analytics are primarily used to analyze pages and events; you are not asked to provide your real identity. However, technical information sent by your browser may still be identifiable, so analytics should not be considered completely anonymous. We do not promise a single retention period unless one is explicitly stated; service logs and analytics records may be retained for different lengths of time.
To reduce analytics requests, use your browser's tracking protection or content-blocking settings. Blocking analytics will usually leave static page content available, though the effect on interactive features depends on the rules applied.
3. Cookies and Browser Storage
Depending on the deployment configuration, traffic analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to link multiple visits from the same browser. This site has no account sign-in and does not use login cookies to store user identities. Interface preferences, such as language and platform selections, may also be represented in URL paths, fragments, or browser storage.
Cookies and local storage are saved on your device. You can view, restrict, or delete them in your browser's site data settings. Deleting them may reset saved interface preferences or analytics identifiers, but it will not remove downloaded installers or clear settings in a separate client.
Restricting storage does not stop all data transfers. When you request a webpage or installer, the service provider still has to process the network information needed to fulfill that request.
4. Downloads and Third-Party Links
This site links to client developers' official websites, app stores, project resources, and download pages. When you follow an external link, the destination may receive your IP address, browser details, and referral information, subject to your browser's policies. Its own policy explains how it handles cookies, analytics, and data retention.
Download links may use file distribution services, which can also generate network request logs. Before installing, check the source, operating system, and processor architecture for the file. When launching a client, review its permission prompts and privacy information.
Subscription links may contain access credentials, so import them only into a trusted client. Do not share full links in public comments, screenshots, or shareable URLs. Update requests sent by a client to a subscription provider are not part of this site's web analytics.
5. Policy Updates and Feedback
If site features, analytics methods, or distribution processes change, this policy will be revised on this page and the month at the top will be updated. Significant changes to the scope of data processing will be noted in the relevant feature information. Visit this page again to check the latest terms.
For help with download, configuration, or access issues, first check the FAQ and user guide. Before submitting a problem report through a related service, remove subscription credentials, passwords, and personal information. Include only the system details, error messages, and steps needed to reproduce the issue.
